Small independent Chartered Architectural Technology practice run by Mike Beck. I am a fully qualified Architectural Technologist with experience working at large practices on Commercial, Industrial and Retail Projects. I now specialise in Residential New Builds and Extensions: Creating Beautiful, Well-planned and Meticulously Designed Homes.

Mike Beck Design Ltd is a chartered practice. To obtain this is a very high level of proficiency and professionalism had to be demonstrated to the Chartered Institute of Archtiectural Technologists. This was everything from demonstrating the ability to provide the services offered, to client relationships and high standards when interacting with clients, other consultants, local authorities and public bodies.

The Service

 

The majority of projects are Residential. Everything from basements, extensions, refurbishments, lofts, conversions from single to multiple dwellings, new builds and office to residential. I also work on commercial projects including retail and offices and industrial including warehouses.

I will take a project from conception to completion. Full measured surveys and existing plans and elevations, various design options exploring the variations, consideration of maximum value and affordability, final drawings and planning applications. Once planning is obtained, detailed drawings showing the construction details, building control compliance, the M&E and the specification. Liasion with contractors, structural engineers, party wall and building control. On site contract management and site co-ordination as required.

I am available from the start to the end to ensure fantastic layouts, creative design and buildable and affordable solutions
